Posted by Loan originator Spanda Capital is exiting the Esketit marketplace after selling its loan portfolio to an international NPL investor. The repayment of the remaining outstanding loans is expected to take place gradually, with a large part of the portfolio scheduled to be bought back by the end of September 2026 and the remaining volume by the first quarter of 2027.
One interesting aspect is that investors will not be repaid directly by Spanda, but through Mojo Capital as an intermediary. This creates an additional counterparty risk, which is somewhat downplayed by describing it as a “small domino effect.”
