P2P Risk Score Update (August 2026)

Posted by

There have been three changes to the Platform Risk Score over the past week:

đŸ”» Maclear: 2.5 → 1.8

The CrowdIndex investigation by P2P Empire documents a review website that lists Maclear as the “best P2P platform in Europe”, while technical evidence suggests it is actually part of Maclear’s own marketing infrastructure. Following the use of bots and paid Trustpilot reviews, this represents the third documented case of artificial reputation enhancement and therefore results in another Red Flag deduction.

đŸ”ș Loanch: 0.7 → 3.7

Loanch has published a statistics page providing information on its outstanding portfolio volume, investor numbers, and performance by loan originator. This earns full points for both transparency and disclosure as well as loan portfolio and investor losses (30 points). The improved transparency moves Loanch up six places to 22nd position (out of 29).

🆕 InRento: 8.4 (new to the ranking; 1st place)

InRento is the latest P2P platform to be added to the Risk Score. By scoring 8.4 points, the platform takes first place ahead of Nectaro (8.0 points). It is the first platform to achieve full marks in four out of five categories. A detailed review of the Lithuanian real estate platform will follow in the coming days.
