Posted by Last week, the Latvian central bank granted SIA IBC Invest an investment firm license. The accompanying photo on LinkedIn shows Esketit CEO Ieva Grigaļūne and Esketit shareholder Davis Barons.
A look at the commercial register shows that the company is 100% owned by SIA IBC Holding, which in turn is split equally between Davis Barons and Matiss Ansviesulis. Essentially, the same shareholders and ownership structure as with Esketit.
Following the chaotic relocation from Ireland to Croatia and the criticism that accompanied it, Esketit has now followed through on its announcement and put the platform on a regulated footing in Latvia this year. There hasn’t been any official confirmation from the platform itself yet.
