Danabijak Writes 42K Loss For 2025

Danabijak, which has been part of Income Marketplace since day one (January 2021), has since become one of the smallest remaining active lenders on the marketplace, with an outstanding portfolio of just over €100,000.

Yesterday, after two years without any published figures, Income Marketplace released Danabijak’s audited financial statements for 2025. According to the figures, revenue fell by 6% to €790,000, while the company went from a profit of €48,000 to a loss of €42,000, primarily due to a fourfold increase in marketing expenses.

The loss would have been significantly higher if Danabijak had not capitalized €103,000 in software under development. This amount was paid in cash but has not yet been written down. Without this capitalization, the loss would have been around €149,000 instead of €42,000.

Income describes Danabijak’s equity position as having been “strengthened.” However, this improvement was not earned through business operations but came from capital injections. Over the past two years, around €564,000 in fresh capital has been added, most recently from a new investor.

As for the lender comparison, Danabijak does not bear any credit risk itself, as according to its financial statements, the loans are held off the balance sheet. As a result, there are no figures available on loan quality. This leaves investors unable to assess the underlying risk. For this reason, Danabijak still has no overall score in the loan originator comparison.
