Nectaro Interview 2026: High Yield or More Safety?

Posted by

Looking back at 2025, I named Nectaro the best P2P platform of the past year. The reason for this is not only the strong return of 17.5% that I have achieved since starting my investment 12 months ago, but also the overall positive development of the Latvia-based platform.

Although Nectaro had only completed its second full financial year in 2025, the licensed Latvian P2P platform delivered convincing results across the board.

  • Competitive interest rates from profitable loan originators
  • Attractive bonus campaigns to boost returns
  • Integration of an auto-invest function
  • Introduction of a group guarantee for Abele Finance
  • Open communication and a high standard of transparency

The result: Assets under management increased from EUR 3.6 million to almost EUR 20 million in 2025, with a default ratio of 0%.

As positive as this snapshot may be, it is equally logical that things cannot continue like this forever. At least not if Nectaro intends to keep growing in the future. This would, however, require a new strategy and new structures.

Can high returns still be promised if, at the same time, investors demand more safety and higher liquidity? Which new loan originators and asset classes will be added to Nectaro?

This is exactly what I discussed in the current interview with Nectaro CEO Sigita Kotlere.

Here are the topics discussed, including timestamps:

  • 00:00 Challenges 2024 and Improvements in 2025
