PeerBerry has published its figures for September. According to the data, the outstanding portfolio increased to €155.35 million, up from €150.23 million in the previous month. In September alone, loans worth €50.52 million were financed, around 29% more than in August.
The shift in the portfolio remains noteworthy. Since the beginning of the year, the share of short-term loans has increased from 7% to 22.15%. In absolute terms, this now corresponds to around €34 million.
In conclusion: with €50.52 million in new loans issued and an outstanding portfolio of €155.35 million, almost one-third of the portfolio is mathematically turned over each month. While this model provides plenty of liquidity for us as investors, it also highlights the platform’s strong dependence on a continuous flow of new business.
