Posted by Edgars Tālums, active in the secured lending business since 2008 and co-founder of LANDE, has launched a new crowdfunding platform called Digilo (short for Digital Loans). The ECSP-licensed platform, based in Latvia, finances business loans that are exclusively secured by first-rank mortgages on Latvian real estate.
The first loans were funded in June, so the platform is still very new and young on the market. Nevertheless, I have already taken a first look at its business model and risk profile.
